Our three-year-old loves, loves, loves yogurt. I think she’d be fine if we fed it to her three times a day. Unfortunately, there can be a lot of hidden sugars in yogurt. So, in order to avoid it, we make our own fruit yogurts. We buy frozen fruit, thaw it in the fridge, throw it in the blender & puree it up, pour it into ice cube trays and re-freeze it. Then once every few days, we defrost a cube and mix it into full-fat, plain yogurt. We keep any thawed fruit in the fridge & have never had any issues with it keeping until it’s all used up. Almost any fruit will work, but Avery’s favorites are strawberry and mango.
Do you have any quick & easy ways to prepare your kid’s favorite food?
