Plastic Containers

When my daughter was born I became somewhat obsessed with everything that she may consume. I have always been concerned with the chemicals allowed on our fruits, vegetables and meats. But a new issue started to consume my thoughts, the containers in which her food or milk may be housed. As I began to research I became alarmed at the dangers of plastics leaching chemicals into our food and drinks. I found many alternatives for items such as stainless steel bottles and food containers and of course glass containers as well. Although glass is great to use at home it may be dangerous to send to school.
The attached article from USA Today includes some of the dangers of plastics and what you can avoid for your own safety and the safety of your children.
